On May 11 2020 on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the sensational songstress spilled some tea about the root of her and beau Anwar Hadid’s intimate relationship.
When Cohen asked Lipa and another guest if they had slid into a celeb’s DMs on Instagram, the British pop star delayed her response for a couple of moments before she fessed up.
“I have an admission to make … mine was my boyfriend, so my current boyfriend,” she conceded. “I unquestionably did that.”
Lipa explained that she met her model lover in person before eventually sliding into his DMs and getting flirty. “No, we really met at a barbecue,” she shared. “But then it carried on onto DMs.”
Lipa was first connected to Hadid in June 2019. The pair made their first honorary appearance as a couple in November of the same year at the American Music Awards.
The couple had been living in a London condo in 2020 until Lipa’s place flooded, meaning the pair had to move to an Airbnb in April 2020 until they could get it sorted out.
While dishing insights into her life as a pop star cohabiting with her man in an interview with Good Morning Britain, Dua Lipa revealed, “Both my boyfriend and I are quite used to making anywhere a home.”

On June 22nd of 2020, Anwar celebrated his 21st birthday, and suffice it to say the model received infinite adoration from his girlfriend Dua, amongst others including his older siblings Bella and Gigi.

It’s not simply Dua who clearly communicates and shows her adoration for sweetheart Anwar – her beau is additionally one for showing his partner off to the world with Dua often showing up on his socials in sweet posts, even describing her as the “girl from my dreams.”
